Apple Developer Releases still lists iOS 27.0 and iPadOS 27.0 as 24A437. That is day 11 since the September 14 public tip. The row has not moved.
Press already heard Apple will ship a software fix early next week for some iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max units that reboot after a failed Face ID try. Our Face ID fix confirmation brief covered that statement. On the build pages, nothing new has landed.

Public tip still 24A437 on day 11
iOS 27.0 / iPadOS 27.0 remain 24A437 on Developer Releases. macOS 27.0 is still 26A428. tvOS 27.0 is 24J361. visionOS 27.0 is 24M362. watchOS 27.0 for Series 9 and later stays 24R364.
Those are the same shipping strings logged after September 14, and again in yesterday’s watchOS 27.0.1 firmware note. The phone tip did not ride along with that watch security-index row.
Apple’s security releases index still names iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 as the latest phone and tablet releases, dated 14 Sep 2026. There is no iOS 27.0.1 line. There is no iPadOS 27.0.1 line either.
No 27.0.1 seed for the Face ID fix yet
Apple told press a software update is coming early next week for affected iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max phones. It has not posted a version string for that patch. It has not published a build number. Developer Releases has no iOS 27.0.1 or iPadOS 27.0.1 entry. The security index has no matching row.
So the firmware sheet and the press timeline are not the same thing today. Owners watching Settings, General, Software Update still see the September 14 tip. Earlier panic reports are in our Face ID reboot story. This post only tracks what Apple has seeded, and what it has not.

27.2 developer tip unchanged at 24B5089g
The 27.2 beta track last moved on September 21. iOS 27.2 beta 2 and iPadOS 27.2 beta 2 are still 24B5089g. Companion seeds from that day are unchanged: macOS 27.2 beta 2 at 26B5091g, tvOS 27.2 beta 2 at 24K5093g, visionOS 27.2 beta 2 at 24N5093f, watchOS 27.2 beta 2 at 24S5091f.
Those beta 2 builds match the sheet we logged with the 27.2 beta 2 build list. The 27.2 public beta path opened September 22. Developer Releases still does not print a separate public-beta catalog string next to the developer beta 2 row.
Xcode 27.1 beta remains 27A9269 from September 18. Xcode 27.2 beta is still 27B5019j from September 16. TestFlight 4.4.0 appeared September 24. That is tooling, not an OS build.

What Apple has not confirmed
Apple has not published an iOS 27.0.1 or iPadOS 27.0.1 on Developer Releases. It has not added an iOS 27.0.1 row on the security releases index. It has not named a build number for the forthcoming Face ID reboot fix. It has not seeded a new 27.2 developer beta since September 21.
Until a Releases row or a security-index entry appears, the shipping tip for iPhone stays 24A437. Early next week is the press window Apple gave. The catalog has not caught up yet.
