There are new chips for the mid-range 5G mobile phone market. After Qualcomm released the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip in February, MediaTek also recently launched the Dimensity 7500 chip for the mid-range 5G market.
The Dimensity 7500 chip is the industry’s first Arm C1 series CPU product. It adopts the 4nm process and consists of a 4-core 2.6GHz Arm C1 Pro and a 4-core 2.0GHz Arm C1 Nano to form a 4+4 eight-core operation.
For the image part, Dimensity 7500 uses Mali-G625 MC2 GPU, compatible with LPDDR5 and UFS3.1 storage;
Some AI chips support NPU 850, which doubles AI performance and supports 2,800 x 1,344 pixels and 144Hz high refresh rate.
Short comment from Mobile Magazine: Other features of the chip include support for 200MP primary mirror, 5.2Gbps 5G download, Wi-Fi 6E, etc. It is widely rumored that the first model will be the upcoming vivo S26 Yuanqi Edition mobile phone.
