Apple is about to bring a new generation of iOS 27 system at the WWDC Developer Conference. It is rumored that this time it will embark on the biggest revision of the iPhone’s “Camera” App in history! Not only has the interface been completely renovated, but Siri’s exclusive camera mode will also be introduced. “Bloomberg” also took the lead in exposing relevant screenshots today.
According to a report by Bloomberg, the iPhone Camera App will soon add a “Siri Mode” and place it alongside the existing photo and video buttons. This function is the same as the core technology of “Visual Intelligence”, allowing users to take photos and directly conduct questions, analysis or searches through AI. Apple hopes to deeply integrate this feature into the camera experience to increase consumers’ acceptance of AI and facilitate future connections to hardware such as new AirPods and smart glasses.

In addition, above the camera interface, iOS 27 will add a “widget panel” with customizable buttons. Users can freely place shortcut keys for commonly used functions based on usage habits and preferences, such as adjusting depth of field, timers, or switching night mode.
Apple also plans to further deepen the Apple Intelligence function into the Camera App, and is expected to add “ReFrame” that can recompose pictures, “Extend” that expands the background through AI, and “Clean Up” that removes screen clutter. It is reported that Apple is currently testing the function of issuing photo editing commands through natural language (text or voice), but it is not expected to be implemented in the first test version of iOS 27.
