HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 welcomes “Snowy White” and DESCENTE co-branded upgrades! The new watch is equipped with a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED high-brightness screen and a nano-microcrystalline ceramic bezel. HUAWEI officially released the new “Snowy White” and DESCENTE deep co-branded models of WATCH Ultimate 2, ushering in an upgrade for this flagship wearable device. The new version continues the iconic 150-meter diving and Beidou satellite communication, and also debuts an exclusive “ski mountaineering mode” and multiple advanced health detection functions. The new product is expected to be officially launched on September 17th. It is definitely a new generation of equipment that attracts much attention from outdoor adventure players.
In terms of appearance and screen, the new version of WATCH Ultimate 2 brings a new vision and wearing feel. “Snowy White” uses a purple and white two-color nano-microcrystalline ceramic bezel, with a hydrophobic and breathable nylon woven loop strap, which is still flexible and fit in the cold; the DESCENTE co-branded model uses a dark amorphous zirconium alloy case with exclusive orange stitching details, which is highly sporty. The screen is equipped with a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED color display with 466 x 466 resolution and a peak brightness of up to 3500 nits, ensuring that various data can still be read clearly in the snow or under strong light outdoors.
In terms of functions and specifications, WATCH Ultimate 2 focuses on all-round extreme sports tracking. The watch debuts a new “ski mountaineering mode” that supports the integration of mainstream route files, can display altitude and remaining distance in real time when climbing, and adds turn type recognition to accurately count the number and frequency of long and short turns. The watch retains top-notch 150-meter diving protection and Sonar communication technology, plus Beidou satellite voice and text rescue functions in a non-network environment, providing double protection for extreme sports. Health detection has built-in ECG analysis, blood oxygen monitoring and sleep health management. In terms of battery life, it can reach 11 days in power saving mode and 6 days in general use. Turning on the AOD always-on display maintains stable battery life of 4 days.
In terms of sales information and pricing, the new “Snowy White” and DESCENTE co-branded models of HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 have officially opened for pre-sale today and are scheduled to go on sale on September 17. The official pricing of the two new versions is 6,999 yuan (equivalent to approximately HK$7,700), and an additional fluororubber strap will be included in the package for daily replacement.
