As the Galaxy Unpacked London launch conference will be held on July 22, the market’s attention to the new generation of SAMSUNG’s folding screen flagship mobile phone continues to heat up. Following earlier price exposures in the European and Korean markets, the latest overseas report further revealed the US pricing details of Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra!

According to the latest news from the industry, the US version of the standard version of the Galaxy Z Fold8 with a new wider screen ratio will have a 256GB storage space priced at US$1,899 (equivalent to approximately HK$14,812). As for the higher-positioned Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the 256GB basic version is priced at US$2,099 (equivalent to approximately HK$16,372), a slight increase of US$100 from the previous generation Galaxy Z Fold7. The report also mentioned that the factory is currently reviewing the final pricing plan for the official launch next week.
In terms of core hardware, both new phones have been confirmed to be equipped with the exclusive Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, which provides stable computing and image processing performance for the device. However, the two have clear market divisions in terms of body layout and peripheral configuration. The standard version of Galaxy Z Fold8 is expected to be equipped with a 5.5-inch external screen and a 7.6-inch built-in main screen, as well as a dual-lens camera system and a 4,800mAh battery.

On the other side, the high-end Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra maintains a similar body outline to the previous generation, but focuses on further expanding the battery capacity to 5,000mAh. At the same time, the machine will be equipped with a three-lens system including a 200-megapixel main sensor.

SAMSUNG has confirmed to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked product launch event in London, England on July 22. In addition to the two large-sized folding screen flagships mentioned above, a new thin-sized folding screen mobile phone Galaxy Z Flip8 is also expected to be officially released at the same event.
