Apple is expected to release its new flagship smartwatch, Apple Watch Ultra 4, in September this year. According to the latest news from foreign media, Apple Watch Ultra 4 will usher in its first major appearance revision and technological breakthrough since its launch, focusing on four core upgrades including sensors, appearance design, health detection and energy efficiency.
In terms of hardware specifications, Apple Watch Ultra 4 will have twice the number of sensors compared to the previous generation. This can significantly improve accuracy, reduce reliance on algorithm data interpretation, make health monitoring data more accurate, and also help optimize power consumption. The health function will add “hypertension notification”. This function is currently awaiting review by the FDA and is expected to be unveiled with the Apple Watch Series 12 in the fall of September.
In terms of appearance design, Apple Watch Ultra 4 will break the convention of fine-tuning the shape of the previous generation and will undergo a “comprehensive redesign”, and the body size may be adjusted as a result.
