Affected by the rising costs of RAM and NAND, the global digital product market has experienced a wave of price increases since this year. Recently, Apple CEO Cook responded to the Wall Street Journal and stated that the brand will inevitably increase prices in order to offset related cost impacts.
According to foreign media, Apple CEO Cook responded to the Wall Street Journal by saying that the brand has tried its best to reduce the pressure of significant cost increases through other means, but at this stage it is unsustainable and price increases are inevitable.

In the report, Cook did not disclose the price increase of Apple product models. It is generally expected that the affected devices may include the upcoming iPhone 18 series, as well as future iPad and Mac products that rely on memory modules.
As for the price increase, the report quoted market research firm TechInsights as saying that if Apple wants to maintain the iPhone 18 Pro at its current profit level, it may need to increase the price by up to US$270 (approximately HK$2,115).
Mobile Magazine’s short comment: Considering that Apple products require at least 12GB to use the full functionality of Apple Intelligence, Apple fans may need to expect that new products such as the iPhone will see a significant price increase in the future.
