Huawei, which has launched its next-generation tri-fold screen Mate XTs, has recently had rumors about its successor, HUAWEI Mate XT2, circulating on the Internet. It is revealed that this new tri-folding screen mobile phone may adopt a new folding structure, bidding farewell to the current Z-shaped folding screen method.
Several different sources have mentioned that Huawei’s next-generation tri-fold screen Mate XT2 (tentative name) will bid farewell to the Z-fold structure. Among them, “Super Dimension” refers to switching to a G-shaped structure to add an external screen, which can enhance the protection of the main screen when folded.
Digital blogger “Bad Review Emperor” pointed out that after changing the folding structure, Mate XT2 will have better control over the crease phenomenon than the previous generation, making the screen experience better when using the main screen.
As for the folding method, compared to the G-shaped structure similar to Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, “Fixed Focus Digital” mentioned that Mate XT2 Tri-Fold may adopt a U-shaped structure, that is, the center of the screen is wide and the two sides are narrower and folded inwards.
Some netizens simulated a U-shaped three-fold, and it can be seen that Mate XT2 may fold the screen left and right inwards. The secondary screen is located on the back of the layered center of the folding screen, and the main lens is designed to be narrowly layered on one side of the left and right sides.
