Since April this year, there have been rumors in the market that SAMSUNG will add a fourth member, Galaxy S27 Pro, to the next-generation flagship Galaxy S27 series. Following the earlier exposure of the screen size, another revelation today further revealed the specific details of its camera module, giving the outside world a clearer understanding of this new model.
Early market analysis generally predicts that the Galaxy S27 Pro will be positioned similar to a slimmer Galaxy S27 Ultra without an S Pen. However, the latest rumors put forward a different view on this, pointing out that although the two models have something in common in the core shooting hardware, the configuration of the telephoto lens will become an important indicator to distinguish the two.
According to the news, the back of the SAMSUNG Galaxy S27 Ultra may switch to a three-lens design, which means one less lens than previous flagships, which means that only a single telephoto lens will be retained. Although the number of lenses has been adjusted, the main lens and ultra-wide-angle lens are expected to be replaced with new sensor elements to further improve the overall photography performance.
If this news is true, the SAMSUNG Galaxy S27 Pro will also benefit from it, equipped with the same new main lens and ultra-wide-angle sensor as the Ultra version. However, the two will differ in the choice of telephoto lens. Industry speculation suggests that this difference is largely due to the Galaxy S27 Pro’s more compact body design. Due to the relatively limited internal space, the Pro version may only be equipped with a smaller telephoto sensor to accommodate the thickness of the body.
