Six days after Apple posted the public iOS 27 row, the release channel has not moved. The build on phones and iPads that took the September 14 update is still 24A437. Apple’s developer releases page and the security releases index show no newer public point release as of September 20.
That is a quiet week on the device feed. Tooling already shifted once this week with Xcode 27.1 beta 27A9269. The phone and tablet public strings did not follow.

Public channel still 24A437
iOS 27.0 and iPadOS 27.0 remain listed as 24A437. The date on Apple’s pages is still September 14. There is no iOS 27.0.1 row. There is no iOS 27.1 public row either.
We already logged the shipping 24A437 note when that build went live. Nothing on the releases feed replaces it today.
After install, Settings, General, About. The Software Version line shows 27.0 with 24A437 in parentheses. If Software Update offers nothing new, that is expected while Apple keeps this build as the public tip.

No new public companion point release appears after those September 14 strings. macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS stay on the builds above unless Apple adds a fresh row.

27.2 beta strings unchanged since September 16
The developer beta train is still iOS 27.2 / iPadOS 27.2 build 24B5084k. That seed posted September 16. Apple has not listed a newer 27.2 beta string on the releases page since then.
Companion betas from the same day remain as logged with the 24B5084k 27.2 beta note: macOS 26B5086k, tvOS 24K5088l, visionOS 24N5088l, watchOS 24S5086l.
Xcode sits beside that train, not on it. Stable Xcode 27 is 27A266a from September 14. Xcode 27.2 beta is 27B5019j from September 16. Xcode 27.1 beta 27A9269 landed September 18. Those IDE builds do not change the phone public channel.

Devices still on iOS 26
Apple also left the older security track open. iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7 stay listed as 23H24 from September 14. That matches the earlier iOS 26.7 23H24 write-up.
Apple published a security advisory for iOS 26.7 / iPadOS 26.7 at support.apple.com for devices that remain on the 26.x line. Users who have not moved to 27 should open Settings, General, Software Update and confirm 26.7 is installed if the phone still offers it.
iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS still cannot be downgraded after an update lands. Keep a backup before any beta install. Public release users waiting for a 27.0.1 or 27.1 row have nothing new on Apple’s pages today.
