I am very surprised that you do not use your voice when making requests or using Siri instead of typing everything, where there is a much greater chance of making a mistake.

Never ever let Apple control yr passwords… use an independent password manager. Major security breach there.
My problem with password managers. I work in both Apple OS and Windows. I have a perfect password manager in 1Password. It is. OS agnostic. Google browser handles passwords. Apple OS has a password manager. Floating around all this are 'keys.' I am running into conflicts among these managers and occasionally have trouble logging in to important websites.
Will it fix the issues of apps glitching since 26.6 update? For example I can no longer save a pdf to the native files folder in Safari. I chose save to files and the pop up box flickers and goes away. I can no longer upload files to Cricut as the same thing happens, spent over an hour on the phone with Apple support only to be told contact Cricut. The community forum suggested removing app and reinstalling. That worked for Affinity Publisher and Google Drive but not Cricut. Cricut support was absolutely no help. Told me to log out then log back in or remove app and reinstall after I already told them I did that twice. The Safari issue is an annoyance. The Cricut issue is affecting my business as I can no longer test my printable journal kits in the Cricut print n cut as I can’t import the png images. So I can’t list them to my shop. Everything worked fine before upgrading to 26.6 and of course Apple will not take any responsibility even though there are several people in the community forum experiencing the same issue. So for the first time since my first iPad in 2017 I am not looking forward to the next update if it doesn’t fix what the last one broke and Apple doesn’t acknowledge is even an issue,
As someone who worked as an Apple tech , what you need to know about new ios updates…..never download them right after they come out. You are Apples guinea pigs. Wait three months, then check what issues everyone is having. Never download onto an older iPad. It takes up too much space and will cause your system to be glitchy. You cant go back to a former ios. Some updates have caused devices to die. Apple expects this. They want you to buy new devices. I worked for them for three years. Turn off automatic updates. They wont replace your device either.
Turn both your iPhone and iPad off then on again. Air Drop should work.
SORRY, RICH, but every Apple OS change is a TORTURE, not a gift, to me! it's also downright annoying.
The icon management on the front page is dreadful, it has been since iOS 26. Slow and clunky it makes icon management impossible. Consequently my front page has filled up with unmanageable icons that will not stack into groups and cannot be moved around. It is truly awful.

Will this work with 7mini and M1 12.9 iPad? Also if I take photos with a camera (non phone camera) and save them via sd card to my m1 mac mini… and get them to the iPad, will photos be manipulatable? I wonder too, I have an ssd on the Mac mini that stores photos … it sure could be nice to search and work with other devices from the iPad etc, then sync without cluttering with duplicated mass storage.
Every time they change something, In cant find my way around. When will my iPad recognize I'm asking Siri. If I don't say "HEY Siri" I don't get a response?

One thing that is common amongst just about every "I" anything video is the creator assumes there is no users (owners) out there that use both IPads or Iphones and Android,Linux or Windows. Many of us have little choice in the matter as sometimes work requirements dictate what we use. After all, Apple products are still stuck in the 30% range of total computer users. I can see where the "Password Repair" tool could cause havoc with your life if this was the case. If you allowed your device to automatically update passwords for apps or websites that you use on all main platforms and allowed Ipad to put a random password you could very well be in for a day of more of grief. And, Ipads inability to allow multiple users could also put you in jeopardy if you allowed anybody else to use your device. Of course that too is in the Apple business plan. This sort of thing should be pointed out in your presentations.

I don’t use Siri at all. Same as 2FA authentication yet, apple relentlessly hounds me for my phone number. I only use my iPad for streaming & it never leaves my house so…why

I know there’s windowed setting but what a messy step backwards just to have two apps open when there was a quick Touch the three dots at top of screen and you’re ready to go.
Eg mail on the left with dates for something and your calendar on the right to check against.
Why is Apple trying to be like the dreaded Windows op system???

Just got my new iPad Air 13 M4 set up. Tried out Siri. Asked her when my next Dr Appt is. She was right. Pulled the appt from my Google Calender! One thing I think you forgot to mention though. To get that version of Siri, you have to go into Settings – Siri – then opt in to try the Beta version of Siri. Or, maybe it was different on your version. I just installed iPad OS 27 Beta 4. Anyway, nice vid. Thanks!

Cool update but I feel with this AI trend and Assistants getting smarter with the excuse of helping the user be more productive we are losing our privacy more and more with every update, this update is particularly heavy on AI and for any person with at least two brain cells that's a major red flag and the same applies for all tech companies is not an Apple only thing, unfortunately that's the road we going down and there's no stopping that. I'm sorry for my comment I know is not the topic of your video you did a great job explaining all the new features of iOS 27 I just wanted to get my concern out because is important everyone is aware.

I live quite comfortably without Siri …
1. I don’t care about Seri and I sure as hell don’t want Apple digging through my data with an insecure web app.
2. Apple can keep the AI crap. Zero trust in big tech and AI. AI saving all of my conversations!
I hate Siri. Hate hate hate it. I won't use it. Why should I ask for things I can do myself? It's like asking your mom to make you a cheese sandwich. If you can make your own sandwich you can figure out how to make a better sandwich for yourself and you're not sitting around waiting for mom like a dummy who can't do anything . If you want a note, it's better to look yourself for the one you want, rather than have all the notes thrown at you and then you still have to figure out which note you want. Most of what Siri and other AIs can do is just a waste of time.
This is ludicrous, why would anyone want to allow access to all their stored personal information by an app that has to be connected to the internet?

There are way too many concerns about AI and privacy questions that are not being addressed and answered.
I want to know if I can still keep things simple and not use siri and AI to work normally and use all my stuff.
I hate it that I can’t use carplay without siri and am seriously considering switching to android for that reason (+ a few more)
I have been apple user for the last 10 years but it seams like I am approaching an exit date soon.
The single biggest tragedy in IOS every number is the destruction of every good thing in photos. They need to store and transfer in dated folders. The other thing is they need to be capable of backup with iTunes.
