SoftBank will accept reservations for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max from 9:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the SoftBank Online Shop, SoftBank Shops, and dealers. The release date is Friday, September 18th. Softbank announced the reservation and release schedule on September 10th, but the selling price has not yet been announced as of noon on September 12th.

When can I make reservations for Softbank’s iPhone 18 Pro? Reception hours and precautions
Reservations will begin at 9:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the same time at all five locations: Apple Store, Docomo, au, Softbank, and Rakuten Mobile. The release date is Friday, September 18th.
Stores that are closed at 9:00 p.m. will accept reservations from the time they open the following day, September 13th (Sunday). If you want to receive it on the release date, it is advantageous to reserve online.
The two models targeted are iPhone18 Pro and iPhone18 Pro Max. The unbranded iPhone 18 is not included in this offer, and reservations for the foldable iPhone Duo will begin at 9pm on Friday, October 16th.
According to SoftBank’s guidance, once the reserved model is in stock, you will receive a “Main application” email, and once you have completed the application, your purchase will be confirmed. Depending on inventory status, delivery may not be possible on the release date.
Procedures for making a reservation at SoftBank Online Shop
- Open the SoftBank Online Shop and log in with your My SoftBank ID (if you are transferring or new, you can proceed without logging in)
- Choose iPhone18 Pro or iPhone18 Pro Max at 9pm
- Select capacity (256GB/512GB/1TB/2TB) and color (black, silver, glacier, burgundy)
- Select the contract type (model change/transfer/new) and payment method and apply for a reservation.
- Once stock is secured, you will receive an email with the application, so complete the application within the deadline.
In addition to home delivery, you can choose to pick up your order at a store. The earlier you make your reservation, the sooner you will receive the application information, so applying immediately after 9pm is the shortest way to receive your ticket on the release date.
Things to prepare before making a reservation

When transferring from another company, all four major companies support the MNP one-stop system, so in most cases there is no need to obtain an MNP reservation number. Just select your current contract partner during the application process and proceed.

Softbank’s iPhone18 Pro/Pro Max prices are pending announcement
Softbank has not announced the sales price of iPhone 18 Pro / Pro Max as of noon on September 12th.
For last year’s iPhone 17 series, SoftBank announced the price after pre-orders began (early morning on September 14th) and also offered online-only discounts. There is a possibility that it will be announced after reservations start this year as well.
For reference, DoCoMo’s previously announced price is 263,230 yen for iPhone 18 Pro (256GB), and the cost if you use the return program with MNP is 99,990 yen.
