Its still not updating to .2 version
i tried updating for 4/5 times using traditional method and it failed every time. It even failed using mac and install automatically, and I download the IPSW file directly and install it😂 now you need high level of tech to do this kind of stuff
After installing this update I was unable to text non-iPhone friends. Those texts would get a “failed” notification. I had to go in and switch off the beta encryption feature. Had been working fine until this update.

I am having problems with Wi-Fi calling disable itself, and when it does that the personal hotspot is great out to. I finally noticed yesterday when it does it I happen to be on it, and the Wi-Fi went off for a second and went back on on the phone then when I checked to see if Wi-Fi calling and the hotspot that was disabled again, and I went in and put a airplane mode and put it back off and it enabled itself. It’s been doing a lot lately. My dad has had the same problems with his phone too.
RCS feature worked well on iOS 18. Stopped working on iOS 26 with encryption added to the feature. iPhone SE
Today, my 15PM magically downloaded iOS 26.6.2 and installed it, even though automatic updates have been turned off for months. After the phone restarted, I saw in real time my battery level dropping by 7% after just a few minutes. When I got to work about an hour later, I opened my camera and it just froze for the first time since 2023, when I bought it. I also noticed that my timer app only works 1/5 times, where the timer will end but there is no vibration and no sound. The wallpaper bug is still there, and I cannot view notifications from the lock screen without the phone locking on me. I also noticed significantly more cellular, Bluetooth and WiFi dropouts.
All this a day before the new iPhone is announced? Coincidence? What is going on??

How to downgrade to 26.2.1 or lower, i can’t open my bank app now.
Then wallpaper bug seems more promonent when using a photo with people or faces where you have skin tones.

… I had to go to a library with wifi access to download & install ios 26.6.2 because it wouldn't download in cellular mode … if this or other annoying glitches happen often I will be looking at a samsung or google smartphone next time around
