US media 9to5Mac reported on August 31st local time that over 10 current products, including the iPhone 17 Pro and Apple Watch Series 11, may be discontinued in conjunction with Apple’s announcement event expected to be held on September 9th local time. 11 products are expected to be discontinued
Apple typically discontinues older models in the same category when a new product is released. 9to5Mac has listed the following 11 products as candidates for discontinuation in this announcement.

iPhone 16 may continue to be sold
