Android Headlines has posted a rendering image created in collaboration with OnLeaks about the Galaxy S27 series, which is rumored to have a design similar to the main camera bump of the iPhone 17 Pro series.
Until now, it was expected that either the Galaxy S27 Ultra or the Galaxy S27 Pro would have a design similar to the iPhone 17 Pro series, but in this image, both models use a horizontally elongated main camera bump.
Design of three Galaxy S27 series models
Android Headlines posted rendered images of the Galaxy S27 Ultra, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27.
If this rendered image is the final design close to the actual product, the Galaxy S27 will continue to have a design close to the current model, while the Galaxy S27 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Pro will adopt a horizontal main camera bump.
Therefore, it seems that the back design will be in a similar direction to the iPhone 17 Pro series.
Galaxy S27 Ultra
The main dimensions of the Galaxy S27 Ultra are expected to be as follows.

According to Android Headlines, the maximum thickness including the camera part will reach 12.53mm.
Although the main body itself is relatively thin at 7.97mm, the thickness increases significantly at the main camera bump.
By adopting a horizontally elongated main camera bump like the iPhone 17 Pro series, the design at the top of the back appears to have a sense of unity.
The reason for the increased thickness may be that, like the iPhone 17 Pro series and iPhone Air, not only the camera module but also the logic board are integrated inside the main camera bump.
Galaxy S27 Pro
The Galaxy S27 Pro is also expected to adopt a horizontal camera bump like the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
The body thickness is 7.95mm, which is about 0.8mm thinner than the iPhone 17 Pro’s 8.75mm.

Only the Galaxy S27 is thought to continue with a design similar to the current Galaxy S series.

Since the introduction of the iPhone 17 Pro series, an increasing number of Android smartphones have adopted a horizontal camera bump.
