I tried attaching the iPhone17 Pro (silver) genuine Apple accessories Tech Woven Case (black) and a crossbody strap (light blue). We will review the fit, precautions for use, and care instructions.
Attach a Tech Woven Case to iPhone17 Pro
The Tech Woven Case is an original Apple case that was announced and released as an accessory for the iPhone 17 Pro.
Following on from the material texture introduced in a review before the iPhone17 Pro arrives, this article will focus on the fit when actually worn.
When you line up the iPhone 17 Pro and Tech Woven Case, the Apple logo has been lowered on the iPhone 17 Pro, while the Tech Woven Case has the logo in the same position as before, and the iPhone itself and the logo position are different.
To attach it to your iPhone, insert it from the right (camera control side) towards the screen, and press the other side to attach it, as shown in the illustration on the back of the package.
Simply push it in with a light force and it will completely cover your iPhone 17 Pro.
As expected from the genuine! Perfect fit
When you attach the Tech Woven Case to your iPhone 17 Pro, just like other genuine Apple MagSafe accessories, you will see a ring that matches the color of the case, along with a sound effect called “Pon”.
Other than the material of the Tech Woven Case, the biggest feature is the mounting hole for the crossbody strap on the bottom.
The USB-C port and speaker holes are also accurate and not misaligned, giving the impression that it is just the original.
The area around the screen is raised higher than the surface of the screen where no glass film is applied, and even if you place it on the desk with the screen facing down, the screen will not come into contact with the desk.
The area around the rear camera, which protrudes widely, is surrounded by a protective frame that protrudes outside the lens. The camera shape protrudes from the left and right, so even if you place it on the desk with the camera facing down, it won’t rattle on the desk.
The sides of the case are made of TPU with fine textured textures, making it easy to fit in your hand and non-slip.
The buttons on the side have a click feel when pressed, making them comfortable to operate.
The camera controls are covered by a case, but the operation feels good, whether you press the button to activate the camera control, press lightly to switch modes, or slide adjustments.

The tech woven case that protects your iPhone is made of woven fabric. This material may wear out over time. Using MagSafe accessories leaves a small mark.
So I installed an Apple MagSafe charger on the iPhone 17 Pro with a Tech Woven case and checked to see if it really had marks.
Incidentally, in a previous article, I tried it out with a leather case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and it found that there were some faint marks three minutes after charging the MagSafe.
To find out whether the cause of the marks is due to being pushed against by magnetic force or the heat caused by charging, I first install a charger instead of charging.
Without charging, I put on a MagSafe charger and put it on for 10 minutes, but there were no particular marks.
Next, I used a MagSafe charger to charge it and checked whether there were any marks.
After charging for about 10 minutes, there are marks that can be seen slightly depending on the angle of view, but it’s hardly noticeable.
It seems that there is a difference in the ease with which soft leather and relatively hard Tech Woven are marked.
Apple introduces ways to care for Tech Woven Cases to make dirt and scars less noticeable, so even if they have marks, it seems that they can be less noticeable.
Rather than worrying about the marks of MagSafe, it’s probably better to actively utilize convenient and comfortable MagSafe.
Attach a crossbody strap!
This also features a crossbody strap, which was announced and released at the same time as the iPhone 17 series, to be attached to the Tech Woven case.
You will need to remove the case from your iPhone to pass the string through the strap hole.
Once the crossbody strap attachment part is attached to the case, the strap can be removed and attached with a button.
I’m a bit concerned that even when I remove the crossbody strap, the mounting parts will pop out. If we were to create an elaborate structure where magnets are embedded in the strap, I think it would have been even better if there were some ideas to make the mounting parts less noticeable.
I put my iPhone17 Pro in a Tech Woven case and hanging it from my shoulders with a crossbody strap, and then I walked around and put it in and out of my pocket, but the iPhone17 Pro was firmly fixed.
Summary: A little overpriced but has a high sense of security and texture, and is satisfying to the original product.
Tech Woven Cases are attractive for the security and perfect fit that are unique to genuine Apple products. On the other hand, it is a bit disappointing that you cannot choose a light color that is easy to match with silver.
The crossbody strap is attractive because of the magnet embedded in the strap, so the overlapping parts do not get stuck, and the high texture of the strap and metal parts. However, I think there could have been a little more work to do with the design, which caused the mounting parts to pop out very much.
Although there are some concerns about both, the texture is very high, and although the domestic sales price of 9,980 yen (tax included) due to the weak yen’s weakness seems to be expensive, I believe it is a product that will satisfy you when using it on a daily basis.
