Since I have been struggling resetting the my mac-book, I couldn’t find the feature in the settings portion of mac-book and then after searching i was able to find that you have to boot into recovery mode to reset the mac-book and install the os from scratch.

Requirement:
Make sure the mac-book or the mac device is on power because this process can take hours depending the internet speed.
Make sure you have the password for the user.
Process :
1. Power off the machine
2. Power on with holding command + R key together until you see the apple logo
3. After the password select disk or erase disk feature.
4. Erase the disk with mac os installed
5. click on OSrecovery select the os and start installation.
This process can from 40 minutes to 3 hours depending the internet speed.
