   I've been with T-Mobile 5G Home Internet since 11/19/21 and still like them. I use a VPN and a free virus ware setup and I have a Chromebook, a MacBook, cell phone and LG Smart Monitor and my speeds are really quite consistent and I've never had any lagging or drops in service. I'm mainly a streamer and a browser but all of the above makes me quite happy. Of course, it's only me that is using this device, however, my internet is very fast and can accommodate more devices if I need to. Thanks for sharing, unfortunately, that system is not available in my area. Many people in my area have Xfiniti and when I first moved here in 2022, T-Mobile wasn't available in this area but I was moving from Fall River where I had excellent signals but I set it up where I moved and I mostly get just three bars but it seems to be enough as my speeds are very decent. Thanks for your insight and review of this new system with AT & T.

   I’ve ordered both the personal AIR and the Business AIR, my requirement is to get IP Passthrough to work to an external Router/NAT. I saw in the setup a link to request a public ipv4 address. Does that work? My router has OpenVPN that I use to access my private network, will that work on the personal Air. Can ip forwarding be set to one of the Ethernet ports?

   You would need to put a be civil label on your comments. Google decided your video was a setup tutorial for this device. I can't speak Spanish and the setup video on att is in Spanish. This was more than mildly annoying.

   This video is far better than what was on the AT&T app. Thanks for the in-depth explanations. Do you have any recommendations as to how I can get my HP air printer to connect? The router doesn’t seem to have a WPS button. I’ve tried all the methods suggested on my HP app. Thank you for any suggestions.

   I just installed the waveform Quadpro, wires are in 1,3,2,4 order as suggested on your other video. I'm getting amazing 260 mb down and 9 to 10 upload. I know where my tower is 7 miles away no LOS. Antenna pointed in that direction of cell tower.

   I see 2 things happening by 2050. One is 5G services like this, become the new mainstream for broadband, because of people's incomes. I also see cellphones becoming a replacement for desktop and laptop computers, were you just rest your phone in a dock or connect to a usb cable. And let it charge while you watch a movie or game. Data loss is prevented in the cloud, if you're interested. If you need a monitor or keyboard, you can use them separate with something similar to Bluetooth.

    So I guess the USB port on the back is useless for an external antenna. Why don't companies provide a way to add antennas for better coverage??? Without tearing them apart?

    Thank you for this video. 77 yr old wi-fi dummy here. I suggest that you might consider doing a "short form" video on this router. I am having a hell of a time just getting my new 530 to do a basic connection. The discussion of options was very detailed and yet I had trouble understanding what-goes-where to get the router working on my Dell PC. I'm sure it is easy once you know how to do it! My first try at using Smart Home Manager ended in disaster.

    Hi Nate, I set up my internet today, and ive restarted it several times to try to get the custom SSID and password I set in the app to stick, but it wont show up anywhere but the app. Not changing on any devices. Also, my 2.4 ghz devices won't connect. Do you know how I can fix this?

    You’re always great about answering questions. Thank you. I have the first generation Att air and they mounted a directional antenna on mine. It was 4 lte. They just replaced it with 5g and I have the egg router you’re are showing. Is there anyway I can hook that antenna to it? It’s made by Att. Thank you.

    They said we had to up grade from old one with antenna outside..or they would cut it of this month.will i work but on 4g?.

    I just setup Att internet air 4 days ago, free trial period. So far so good. It's only connecting to 4G but download speeds average around 230, uploads 25. I have 9 devices connected to it. Everything is working great. No slow downs or buffering while watching videos. I was having too many issues with Comcast, slowing down, dropping out too often. Had numerous service tech visits. It never got better. And to top it all off ATT is about half the price of Comcast.

    My att air is absolute garbage. When it works temporarily it is fast but I have to constantly reset it say I'm using internet for an hour or so I may have to reset it 3-4 times. I've yet to have a single day where I haven't had to reset the thing multiple times. Some days I leave it unplugged out of frustration with it. Several times I'll have all green lights but it fails the ip address. This is the second hub aswell…… customer service is absolutely terrible aswell.

    I can't enable the guest mode…the Guest SSID Enable option is set to "off" and low lit. How do I change this?

    Have you tried using a cellular booster for improving signal inside the house? Like a Wilson. Wondering if improves speed.

    Just received mine today. Setup process is still janky for whatever reason it's not taking my code so I'm waiting for customer care to solve that for me. But as far as the speeds it covers my apartment. Well wish me luck on gaming 😁

    My question is this I tried previously speed were fine. Managed mine that handle. My device is fine. My only question was when I tried to manage things from the app. It kept on telling me that it was not available when I wanted to change certain settings for example switching from WPA two to WPA three. I’m wondering if there is a setting in my iPhone that could be preventing this any thoughts? I also noted when I typed in the address on the back of the router to go to the web interface and said I was on a public site not a private so I wasn’t sure if that would cause additional issues as well. Interested in your thoughts thanks

    I am trying to get the NAT/Gaming or Pass-through set up. When I go to both tabs, the instructions send me to a link. The link takes me to an at&t page that says, Get a public IP address. You need a public IP address for any network hardware that can be used by the public. I click the continue and it says We received your request and to close this page and to go back to my hub settings and refresh the page but nothing changes. I am trying to play mario kart on the switch and I get the 2618-0513 error code. Any help would be appreciated.

    My at&t internet air is great it's fast and the ping is excellent for online games like cod but today I had to reset my router cuz it got to hot and the ping went up to 102 but I'm assuming it changes all the time 👍

    Hey! I purchased this for my first home, works well for iPhones and connects to our smart watches. Had issues trying to connect it to our Vizio smart tv last night, tried a bunch of options including changing the password, restarting both the tv, and box. Any thoughts?

    I have had the BGW539-900 for a few months now and the speeds are very consistent, I clock about 220 down and 15 to 18 up. I was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for installing a Waveform antenna to the BGW530-900? I know I can increase the speed with a directional antenna. I do live remote, so I was surprised by the speeds I am getting.

    great video, I've had this modem/gateway for about 6 months and its pretty good at first my average downstream speed was around 500mbps up was around 80mbps it does go up and down alot in speed i also have a waveform outdoor non directional antenna hooked up to it and im about half a mile from the att tower so glad to see u got a chance to make a video about this gateway

    So I have an elsys and have T-mobile. Att recently started offering internet air at my location and I've thought about switching because I have ATT cell phone service and their 5g+ band get crazy good speeds compared to what I get with T-mobile, however when I do a band search on my Elsys ultra, it only shows that ATT 4g is available, even though on my phone I'm getting 5g with ATT at the same location. Is the Elsys compatible with ATT 5g?

    Hi Nate, great video. A few questions: 1) what latency/ping are you measuring with the BGW530? You mentioned it was better than the egg, but I didn't catch the measurement. I'm currently getting ~30ms with my vdsl 100/20. 2) Staff at my local ATT store said that only their wifi extenders will work with the BGW530. Is that true? 3) Newbie here – with wifi extenders, can you connect the wifi extender to the gateway via ethernet/cat 5e? Thanks, JB
