Apple’s official website will open pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro series at 8pm today (12th), and the latest Trade In exchange price has been updated in advance. iPhone 17 series joins trade-in
With the debut of the iPhone 18 Pro series, Apple has officially included the iPhone 17 series into the Trade In trade-in list. The iPhone 17 Pro Max can be discounted up to 36,200 yuan, the iPhone 17 Pro is 29,800 yuan, and the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 are both 20,800 yuan.
If we look at the discounted price of the previous-generation flagship when it was launched on the market for the first time, the iPhone 17 Pro Max’s price of 36,200 yuan this time is quite eye-catching, and it can also be said to be the highest level ever.
Taking the iPhone 18 Pro 256GB as an example, the price is 44,900 yuan. If you exchange it for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, you only need to pay an additional 8,700 yuan after the maximum discount; if you exchange it for the iPhone 18 Pro Max 256GB, you need to pay an additional 13,700 yuan.
Most old iPhones are discounted
However, compared with the previous Trade In trade-in prices, the trade-in amount of most old iPhones has actually shrunk. Among them, the largest decline was for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The maximum trade-in price dropped from 25,500 yuan to 23,500 yuan, a decrease of 2,000 yuan. The iPhone 15 Plus also dropped from 12,500 yuan to 11,300 yuan, a decrease of 1,200 yuan.
Although the maximum exchange prices of iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini have increased against the trend, they have only increased by 200 and 100 yuan respectively. In addition, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max remain unchanged.
It is worth noting that the Trade In exchange prices announced by Apple are all “maximum trade-in amount”, and the actual recycling price will still vary depending on the appearance, function and overall condition of the phone. In addition, official recycling prices are usually lower than those sold through retail channels or sold by oneself, but the advantage is that it is convenient and consumers can decide the most suitable way to dispose of old machines based on their needs.
