Xiaomi officially launched the new generation flagship tablet Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max at the autumn conference. It is equipped with a 10-core self-developed Xuanjie O3 chip for the first time, and its performance is close to that of a desktop processor. As the brand’s new top large-screen tablet, the new model is first equipped with the self-developed Xuanjie O3 chip with a 10-core CPU. It is equipped with a 13.3-inch 144Hz high-resolution screen and a 12,000mAh ultra-large-capacity battery. It focuses on the ultimate office and audio-visual entertainment experience. It is now open for pre-order in China.
Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max adopts a metal integrated body design and is equipped with a new runway-shaped camera module. Even with the extra large battery inserted, the thickness is still reduced to only 5.67mm. The weight is controlled at 645g, and it feels extremely slim in the hand. In terms of screen, the standard version is equipped with a 13.3-inch glossy LCD, providing 3,408 × 2,272 resolution, 3:2 office ratio and 144Hz refresh rate, with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. There is also a soft-light screen version with a nano-texture surface, which can effectively reduce ambient light reflection and glare, greatly improving visual comfort when handwriting notes and reading.
In terms of core specifications, Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is the first tablet equipped with Xuanjie O3 chip. It uses a 10-core CPU and a 16-core Mali-G2-Ultra GPU. The early Geekbench multi-core score exceeded 14,000 points, and the overall performance is close to desktop-class processors. The top-end 16GB+1TB version is also equipped with Changxin LPDDR6 memory with a maximum of 10,667Mbps. It has a built-in 12,000mAh battery and supports 120W wired fast charging. The lens combination uses a 32MP front lens and a 50-megapixel main lens, and is equipped with eight speakers and six microphones. The system is equipped with HyperOS 4 and supports up to six apps to be opened simultaneously in split screen. Its USB-C port also supports DP-in function and can be used directly as an external monitor for a computer or handheld device.
Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is now open for pre-order in China. The standard version is priced from RMB 4,799 (equivalent to approximately HKD 5,250), and the top-end 16GB+1TB soft-light screen version is priced at RMB 7,899 (equivalent to approximately HKD 8,650).
