HUAWEI launched a new generation of foldable flagship HUAWEI Mate XT 2 at the press conference, the Extraordinary Master! The new aircraft adopts a new double-inward folding wing structure, and is equipped with the Kirin 9050 Pro chip for the first time, increasing the overall performance of the aircraft by 42%. HUAWEI today officially released its new generation folding flagship HUAWEI Mate XT 2 at the HarmonyOS 7 and full-scenario new product launch conference. The biggest focus of this new product is that after six years, the official once again analyzed the new Kirin 9050 Pro flagship chip in detail at the press conference. In addition to a 42% increase in overall performance compared to the previous generation, the mobile phone also features a new double-inward folding triple-folding structure, a 10.2-inch large screen and a LOFIC technology three-lens combination, making its specifications highly anticipated.
In terms of appearance design, HUAWEI Mate XT 2 adopts a new double-inward folding and triple-folding solution. When closed, the two side screens fold inward to completely protect the 10.2-inch main screen. When folded, the thickness of the fuselage is only 3.5 mm. It is available in three colors: dark black, bright white and golden purple. An independent hard double-layer OLED exquisite external screen is built on the outside of the mobile phone body, which can be used for daily operations without unfolding the internal screen. The fully unfolded 10.2-inch internal screen has a resolution of 2232 × 3184 and is made of UFG ultra-flexible glass material. It supports 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. A Lingshield hardware anti-peep version is also available for users to choose from.
In terms of core hardware, Mate XT 2 debuts the Kirin 9050 Pro chip with a 9-core architecture, integrating Ma Liang GPU and DaVinci NPU, supporting 50 million lines of ray tracing and low-orbit broadband satellite communications, and equipped with a large VC graphene cross-axis cooling system.
The lens combination also reaches the top level, equipped with a 50-megapixel RYYB LOFIC ultra-high dynamic main lens (supports F1.49-F4.0 variable aperture), a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 50-megapixel 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, supplemented by a third-generation red maple primary color lens to improve color reproduction.
The rear module is the first to integrate a photoelectric sensor, and ECG analysis can be performed by pressing your finger. The system is pre-installed with pure-blood HarmonyOS 7, which fully optimizes the multi-tasking experience of the tri-folding large screen.
In terms of sales information, HUAWEI Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master is expected to be officially launched in the mainland at 10:08 on September 12. The new machine is available in four versions: 16GB + 256GB priced at RMB 19,999 (equivalent to approximately HKD 21,999); 16GB + 512GB priced at RMB 21,999 (equivalent to approximately HKD 24,199); 16GB + 1TB priced at RMB 23,999 (equivalent to approximately HKD 26,399); and 16GB + 1TB The privacy-protected version is priced at RMB 24,999 (equivalent to approximately HKD 27,499).
