HUAWEI recently officially launched two new 11-inch tablets to the Indian market, namely the MatePad 11.5 (2025) equipped with exclusive eye protection technology and the entry-level model MatePad SE 11. The mid-to-high-end MatePad 11.5 (2025) is equipped with an 11.5-inch PaperMatte soft-light screen, which effectively reduces ambient light reflection. It comes with a third-generation M-Pencil and keyboard, has a built-in 10,100mAh large battery, and is priced at 44,000 rupees. The MatePad SE 11, which focuses on the mass market, is equipped with an 11-inch full-range DC dimming screen and a 7,700mAh battery, and is priced at 20,000 rupees!
The hardware specifications of the high-end HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 (2025) are equipped with an 11.5-inch PaperMatte soft-light screen. Through special coating treatment, this panel technology can significantly reduce ambient light reflection by 60% and reduce light interference by 99%, providing a more comfortable eye-protecting reading experience. The screen provides 2,456 x 1,600 resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio, supports 120Hz screen refresh rate, and has a maximum brightness of 600 nits.
As a productivity-enhancing device, it comes with the third-generation HUAWEI M-Pencil stylus and a detachable keyboard that supports wireless connection. At the system level, the device is preloaded with WPS Office to meet word processing needs, and users can also organize handwritten notes through the exclusive HUAWEI Notes application with a stylus.
In terms of body design, MatePad 11.5 (2025) has a net weight of 515g, a thickness of 6.1mm, and a built-in large-capacity battery of up to 10,100mAh, supporting 40W fast charging technology. The computing performance is provided by the Kirin T82B chipset and is equipped with a four-speaker configuration. However, it should be noted that this device, like other products from the same manufacturer, does not support Google Play services. The tablet is currently priced at 44,000 rupees on the local Flipkart platform. It provides a WiFi version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space, and is available in starry gray and purple body colors.
Another HUAWEI MatePad SE 11, which debuted at the same time, focuses on the entry-level market. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at 20,000 rupees on the Flipkart platform. This tablet is equipped with an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Although PaperMatte soft light technology is omitted, the panel still supports full-range DC dimming and 4,096 levels of brightness adjustment, with the maximum brightness also reaching 600 nits, and retains the sound configuration of four speakers. Due to cost constraints, the SE version has a slightly thicker body of 6.9mm, a built-in battery capacity of 7,700mAh and supports 22.5W charging. There is no stylus or keyboard accessories included in the package.
