Google will release a new generation of Pixel 11 series flagship phones on the morning of August 13th next week, Taiwan time. However, as the new phones are about to debut, buying momentum for the previous generation Pixel 10 series has picked up.
Pixel 10 drops below 17,000 yuan, buying momentum grows despite the trend
According to the Taiwan-wide mobile phone sales survey for June 2026 released by the market survey, sales of Google Pixel 10 (12GB+128GB) increased by 10% compared with May. Jiesheng analyzed that the main reason is that the retail price of the machine has dropped to less than 17,000 yuan. At this price, you can buy good hardware specifications, coupled with the complete Google ecosystem and AI functions, it is quite attractive to consumers who want to buy a light flagship with a lower budget.
Judging from Google’s overall performance, it still ranked as the fifth largest mobile phone brand in Taiwan with a market share of 4% in June. The top three best-selling brands are Pixel 10a (8GB+128GB), Pixel 10a (8GB+256GB) and Pixel 10 (12GB+128GB). However, affected by the cooling of the overall mobile phone market, Google’s total sales fell by 12%.

Regarding news about the new Pixel 11 series, it is rumored that the 4-phone lineup will be maintained, including Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. As for the Pixel 11, which will succeed the Pixel 10, the specifications of the new phone seem to be “somewhat upgraded and some shrunk.”

According to current news, Pixel 11 is expected to be equipped with the Tensor G6 chip of TSMC’s 2nm process. The memory may be upgraded to 12GB, or even a 16GB version will be provided. The storage space is also rumored to start from 256GB. However, as the capacity threshold increases, the starting price is expected to rise.
What has caused more discussion is the camera configuration. It is rumored that Pixel 11 will cut off the telephoto lens that was first added last year, and the rear camera will return to a dual-lens design, with a 48-megapixel main lens and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. It is reported that this adjustment may be a trade-off in response to rising component costs.
If the news comes true, the already “sweetly priced” Pixel 10 will become a more cost-effective choice for consumers who attach great importance to taking pictures and don’t care about buying the latest model.
