Following the earlier launch of the Moto Pad 70 Pro and Moto Pad 70 Groove, Motorola announced the launch of the third product in the same series, the Moto Pad 70. This new 5G tablet focuses on the balance between thinness, portability and battery life, and the manufacturer has positioned it as one of the thinnest and lightest 5G tablets currently available. The 5G version is only 6.49mm thick, while the Wi-Fi version is even thinner to 6.29mm and weighs only 530g. Comes with exclusive Pantone Sea Angel color and metal body design.
In terms of hardware specifications, the Motorola Moto Pad 70 uses a 12.1-inch LCD screen that supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, and a brightness display of up to 800 nits, and fully supports stylus operations.
The fuselage is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chip, built-in 8GB LPDDR4X memory and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage space. For users who need large-capacity file storage, the machine also has an independent microSD card slot, supporting capacity expansion of up to 2TB. To ensure long-term battery life, the tablet has a built-in large-capacity battery of up to 10,200 mAh. Although the body supports 45W wired charging, a 68W power adapter is included directly in the box.
In terms of system and applications, Moto Pad 70 is pre-loaded with Android 16 system when it leaves the factory. Although there are newer system versions on the market, Motorola promises to provide Android 17 upgrades and security updates for up to three years for new phones in the future. For daily document processing, the system has built-in a number of practical AI functions, including AI rewriting, AI summarizing and AI rewriting. Together with the Moto Pen included in the package, it can effectively improve creation and work efficiency. In addition, the fuselage is equipped with a four-speaker combination that supports Dolby Atmos sound effects, dual microphones, a USB-C interface, and is IP52 dustproof and waterproof, as well as a voice call function. For photography, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel back lens and an 8-megapixel front lens.
Motorola Moto Pad 70 is currently only available in the Indian market in the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM version. The official price is 33,999 Indian rupees. The exclusive Moto Folio keyboard accessory needs to be purchased separately.
