ASUS launches a new tablet computer, ASUS Pad, featuring a 12.2-inch large screen and a thin and light body. It combines double-layer OLED display technology, 256GB capacity, four-channel Dolby Atmos surround sound and AI smart applications. It takes into account the needs of audio-visual entertainment, learning and mobile office. The recommended price starts at NT$19,999 and is officially on sale today.
ASUS Pad is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity D8300 octa-core processor, which provides smooth multi-tasking performance, whether it is watching TV series, browsing the web, video creation or parent-child reading. The body weight is only 523 grams, and it is equipped with a 9000mAh large-capacity battery, which can provide all-day battery life, improve the convenience of carrying when going out, and supports fast charging, which can charge to 50% power in 30 minutes. The appearance is launched in a new “Cloud White” color scheme, which uses simple design and soft tones to create a fresh texture.
As for the screen, the ASUS Pad uses a 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED eye-protection screen with a 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate and a 92% screen-to-body ratio, which can present higher brightness, stable colors and longer panel life. It has also passed TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification, reducing the burden on the eyes for long-term viewing. The sound effect is equipped with four-channel Dolby Atmos surround speakers to enhance the immersive experience when watching dramas, movies and games.
