Xiaomi Hong Kong announced that it will launch a summer shopping promotion from August 1st to 31st, covering a variety of electronic and smart home appliances, with discounts of up to half price. In conjunction with this promotion, the official has also officially launched the new Mijia Air Purifier 6 Plus in the Hong Kong market.
The interior of the new Mijia Air Purifier 6 Plus adopts a tower structure with dual wind wheels and dual filters to improve air flow efficiency. In terms of specifications, the purifier provides a CADR value of 810 cubic meters per hour, can output 12,666 liters of clean air per minute, is suitable for spaces up to 91 square meters, and can complete the air purification process in a 10-square-meter room in 1.9 minutes. There are five built-in sensors in the fuselage, which can monitor PM1, PM2.5, dust concentration, temperature and humidity data in real time.
To target allergens and indoor pollutants, Mijia Air Purifier 6 Plus is equipped with a five-layer composite purification system, fresh negative ion layer and activated carbon layer. According to official information, the system can decompose 98% formaldehyde and 97% TVOC within two hours, and has obtained SGS allergen removal certification. It can effectively filter 98% pollen, 99% cat hair, 98.1% dust mites and 99% mold. In addition, the machine is equipped with dual UVC ultraviolet sterilization modules, which can provide 99.99% killing rate against H1N1 virus, E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus, reducing the risk of secondary contamination of the filter element.
In terms of operation and intelligent configuration, the minimum noise when the device is running is 19.4dB. There is a color LCD display on the front of the fuselage, which can display the air quality trend chart for the past 12 hours. Users can remotely control and monitor the filter life through the Mi Home App, and the system is also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice commands. The suggested retail price of Mijia Air Purifier 6 Plus is $2,499. The product will be available for pre-sale on Xiaomi Home and its official website from July 27 to 31. During the pre-sale period, a $50 discount will be provided and a Xiaomi mini wireless fan worth $179 will be included. General sales will begin on August 1st.
