Earlier, Samsung released its new Galaxy Z series of folding-screen mobile phones. One of the selling points was the switch to Si-C silicon-carbon batteries across the board. There is recent news that the Galaxy S27 series released early next year is also expected to be equipped with this new battery. During the same period, battery information of the high-end models S27 Pro / S27 Ultra has leaked.
According to reports from Dutch media Galaxy Club, four models of the Galaxy S27 series will be launched next year. The high-end models S27 Pro and S27 Ultra are expected to be equipped with larger-capacity batteries.
Among them, the S27 Pro may be equipped with a quota of 5,087mAh battery (5,200mAh Typ.), while the top-end S27 Ultra battery is expected to be increased to 5,534 mAh capacity, which translates into a typical value of about 5,700 to 5,800 mAh.
At the same time, domestic media quoted Samsung MX representative Moon Sung-hoon in London, responding to the introduction of silicon-carbon batteries in the S27 series, saying that if it can help improve user experience, it will decide whether to adopt it based on product conditions.
Mobile Magazine’s short comment: The large number of silicon-carbon batteries used in the Galaxy Z series folding screen can be regarded as a technological breakthrough for the brand in terms of body design and battery life. There will be many other series of products introduced in the future.
