Google’s new generation flagship Pixel 11 series is expected to be officially released on August 13, Taiwan time, but the official announcement has not yet been made. Amazon e-commerce company has recently been suspected of “storming” in advance and unexpectedly listed the Pixel 11 series product page. Although it was quickly removed from the shelves, some specifications and complete US prices were still exposed.
In the product information exposed this time, except for the new color matching that caused discussion, the rest of the hardware specifications did not have much surprise, so the outside world focused more on the price. Comprehensive cancellation of 128GB capacity and standard 256GB
Judging from the US price exposed this time, it is almost certain that the previous rumors are true. The entire Pixel 11 series has officially canceled the 128GB version and changed it to 256GB. Among them, the standard version of Pixel 11 has also been upgraded to 12GB of memory. Therefore, although the entry threshold for the standard version of Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro has increased, if compared with the same 256GB capacity, the price is actually the same as the previous generation. Pro XL and Pro Fold may only have 16GB memory in the high-capacity version
The real price increases are for the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Each capacity version is $100 more expensive than the previous generation. In addition, another change that has attracted attention is that the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL will adjust the memory configuration. The 256GB version may only be equipped with 12GB memory, and only the 512GB and 1TB high-capacity versions will maintain 16GB memory. This is different from the previous generation, which both have 16GB. It is speculated that this is a trade-off made by the rising cost of memory.
Taiwan version price is about to be announced
If this US selling price is used as a reference, the selling price in Taiwan is also imminent. Market expectations are that after canceling 128GB, the price of the standard version of Pixel 11 will start at about 29,990 yuan; the price of the Pixel 11 Pro will start at about 36,990 yuan.
As for the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Taiwan may raise prices by about 3,000 to 3,500 yuan in line with the United States. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is expected to be priced at about 42,990 to 43,490 yuan, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold may start at 59,990 to 60,490 yuan.
