Although OPPO’s flagship phone Find X9 Ultra has been launched on the market not long ago, news about its successor model has already begun to circulate on the Internet. The latest market news points out that OPPO Find X10 Ultra, which is at least one year away from its expected release, has now entered the early hardware testing stage, in which the upgrade direction of the imaging system has become the focus!
According to sources, OPPO is testing a new 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens for future flagship phones, equipped with a large sensor with an area of 1/1.3 inches. It is widely speculated that the model being tested is the Find X10 Ultra. The manufacturer is also evaluating another larger 1/1.12-inch 200-megapixel telephoto sensor, and is even considering using Samsung’s upcoming HPC sensor to find the best telephoto shooting solution.
Under the design structure of dual periscope telephoto, the second set of telephoto lenses of this new phone also has relevant hardware data leaked. It is reported that the secondary telephoto lens will use Samsung’s 50-megapixel GNB sensor with a size of 1/1.95 inches. This specification coincides with earlier predictions from the same source, further establishing the correlation between this batch of leaked data and the Find X10 Ultra.
For reference, the current OPPO Find X9 Ultra is also equipped with a dual periscope system. Its 200-megapixel main telephoto lens uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor, while the 50-megapixel secondary telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom uses a 1/2.75-inch sensor. If the latest revelations are true, the new generation model will have a significant increase in the sensor area of the secondary telephoto lens, which is expected to effectively improve the light intake and overall image quality of the phone in telephoto and low-light environments.
