However, the latest news points out that due to the sharp increase in global supply chain and production costs, the new generation Reno16 series may not appear in the Hong Kong market this year.
The standard version of Reno16 and the international version will be equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The two new machines have clear positioning in terms of capacity versions. The high-end Reno16 Pro only offers a single high-end version with 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM this time; while the standard version of Reno16 is available with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM, and 8GB RAM and 512GB ROM.
The power supply is the most obvious change in this international version. The international version of Reno16 Pro has a built-in 6,700mAh silicon carbon negative battery, and its capacity is slightly smaller than the domestic version. The standard version of Reno16 is also equipped with this 6,700mAh battery in most overseas regions, but for models sold in the European market, the battery capacity will be further reduced to 6,000mAh. In terms of charging speed, all models support 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. In terms of body color, the standard version offers three options: popular white, twilight purple and fantasy purple.
In terms of selling price, since pricing in foreign markets has always been affected by tax rates, the standard version of Reno16 is priced at 899 euros for the 8 + 512GB version in the European market. Pre-orders before July 31 can enjoy an early bird discount of 100 euros. The high-end Reno16 Pro 12+512GB version is priced at 1,099 euros. Looking back at the previous generation of Hong Kong models sold in Hong Kong, the recommended retail price of the 12 + 512GB version of the Reno15 Pro Max 5G is only $4,499, while the 12 + 512GB version of the Reno15 F 5G is priced at $2,799. Comparing the two, it can be seen that the current generation has soared in cost and overseas pricing, which may be the main reason why Hong Kong agents chose not to introduce the Reno16 series.
