Exactly one month after being released in the domestic market, OPPO officially launched the new Reno16 and Reno16 Pro to the international market. However, the hardware configuration of the international version released this time is different from the previously released Chinese version, which mainly involves the selection of processor chips, adjustments to battery capacity, and upgrades to the screen update rate!
Core performance is the biggest change in this international version. The high-end OPPO Reno16 Pro international version does not use the processor of the Chinese version, but is instead equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chip.
As for the standard version of Reno16, the international version is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. In terms of memory and storage space, Reno16 Pro only provides a single high-end version of 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM; while the standard version of Reno16 provides two configurations of 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM, and 8GB RAM + 512GB ROM for consumers to choose from.
The battery life configuration has also been significantly adjusted between different versions. The international version of Reno16 Pro has a built-in 6,700mAh silicon carbon negative battery, which has a slightly smaller capacity than the Chinese version of 7,000mAh. The standard version of Reno16 is also equipped with this 6,700mAh battery in most overseas regions. However, for models sold in the European market, the battery capacity will be further adjusted to 6,000mAh. In terms of charging performance, whether it is the standard version or the Pro version, all models support 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging.
The screen part has brought improved specifications for international version users. The screen refresh rate of Reno16 Pro has been increased to 144Hz, which has smoother picture fluency than the National Bank version. Both new phones use 6.32-inch AMOLED screens with FHD+ resolution, but the refresh rate of the standard version of Reno16 is limited to 120Hz. The local peak brightness of both display panels can reach 3,600 nits, and they also have built-in optical screen fingerprint unlocking functions.
In terms of camera system, the Pro version completely retains the image architecture of the National Bank version. The back of the phone is equipped with a 200-megapixel Samsung S5KHP5 sensor as the main lens + a 50-megapixel GC50F6 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 sensor telephoto lens (supports 3.5x optical zoom).
The standard version of Reno16 uses the same telephoto and ultra-wide-angle lens combination, but the main lens is changed to a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor.
Both new phones have reached a very high level of shell protection, with IP68, IP69 and IP69K dustproof and waterproof certifications, and are preloaded with the deeply customized ColorOS 16 system based on Android 16. In terms of body color, the standard version offers three options: popular white, twilight purple and fantasy purple.
The Pro version is available in Popular White and Starburst Black.
In terms of price, the standard version of Reno16 is priced at 899 euros in the European market for the 8 + 512GB version. Anyone who pre-orders before July 31 can enjoy an early bird discount of 100 euros. As for the high-end Reno16 Pro 12 + 512GB version, it is priced at 1,099 euros, and you can get a 200 euro discount during the pre-order promotion period before July 31. The entire OPPO Reno16 series will be officially launched on July 3.
