Following the launch of Reno16 and Reno16 Pro in the domestic market last month, OPPO officially announced its new lineup for the international market. In addition to the standard model with slightly adjusted specifications, the manufacturer also brings two new members to the series for the first time, OPPO Reno16 F and Reno16 FS. These two new machines are mainly designed to meet different market needs around the world, and provide quite complete configurations in terms of photography functions, AI applications and body protection specifications.
In terms of appearance design, OPPO Reno16 F continues the 3D Pop Planet back cover design that has attracted much attention in the series. This three-dimensional technology is currently exclusive to the Pop White model and brings a layered visual effect to the back of the phone. The camera module on the back of the phone adopts a rounded rectangular design and has three built-in lens combinations.
The front part is equipped with a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, supporting 10-bit color depth display, with a peak brightness of 1400 nits and a pixel density of 397 ppi. The screen also integrates optical fingerprint recognition technology and houses the front lens with a central opening.
Photography capability is one of the highlights of this Reno16 F series. The front of the fuselage is equipped with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle selfie lens to meet the needs of group photos and wide field of view shooting. The main camera system on the back of the machine is led by a 50-megapixel main lens that supports OIS optical anti-shake, paired with a 50-megapixel 3.5x optical zoom telephoto lens that also has OIS, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens that supports autofocus, covering various focal lengths commonly used in daily shooting.
In terms of hardware performance, OPPO Reno16 F is equipped with a Dimensity 7300 Energy processor, coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 ROM. It is factory preloaded with the ColorOS 16 system developed based on Android 16. The fuselage has been equipped with a number of practical additional features, including the new AI Snap Key physical shortcut keys and Splash Touch screen technology that supports wet-hand operation.
In addition, the body protection capabilities have also obtained IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K dustproof and waterproof certifications to ensure reliability in various harsh environments. The standard international version of Reno16 F has a built-in 7000 mAh large-capacity battery and supports 80W fast charging. It will be available in three color options: Pop White, Twilight Violet and Dream Purple.
For specific markets such as Europe, OPPO has launched regional versions with slightly tweaked specifications. The German version of Reno16 F and the newly released Reno16 FS are also equipped with a 6500 mAh battery and support 45W fast charging. The main difference between the Reno16 FS and the German version of the Reno16 F is the storage configuration. The former offers a capacity of up to 512GB, while the latter is 256GB. In terms of price, the OPPO Reno16 F with 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM is priced at 549 euros in Germany, while the Reno16 FS with 8GB RAM + 512GB ROM is priced at 649 euros. Both phones are currently open for pre-order on the official website, and are available in white and purple color options in the European market.
