HONOR announced that the new AI folding screen phone HONOR Magic V6 will officially launch in the Hong Kong market on June 16. The manufacturer invited Nicholas Tse to serve as the Future Technology Experience Officer for the Greater China region this time, in line with the promotional theme of the new machine “My Only Standard”. The price and launch time of the machine will be announced at that time!
In terms of body design, HONOR Magic V6 is designed to be lightweight and portable. The thickness is 8.75mm when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded. The body weight is about 219g. The hinge part uses HONOR Luban shield steel hinge with a tensile strength of 2800 MPa, and an AI-assisted bionic buffer structure is added to improve daily durability. In terms of screen protection, the outer screen is equipped with a HONOR black diamond screen, while the inner screen uses UTG flexible glass to reduce the visibility of creases. In addition, the phone has IP68 and IP69 level waterproof and dustproof certification, providing more comprehensive body protection.
Hardware specifications are another focus of this machine. It is equipped with a HONOR silicon carbon negative battery with a capacity of up to 6,660mAh. In terms of performance, the device uses a 3nm process Snapdragon 8 Elite processor to meet the computing needs of high-load gaming and multi-tasking.
In terms of system and software packages, HONOR Magic V6 is equipped with the new MagicOS and is the first to pre-load the Gemini AI assistant. Users can quickly start the AI service by opening the fuselage. For cross-platform transmission needs, the mobile phone supports HONOR Share and Quick Share, and can perform one-click mutual transmission, notification sharing and dual-screen collaboration with iOS and Android system devices. For business and learning scenarios, the built-in AI voice recording function supports real-time speech-to-text and speaker recognition technology, which can automatically intelligently filter meeting content and organize it into key notes and to-do items.
HONOR will release a product promotion post performed by Nicholas Tse on June 5 on its official Hong Kong social platform.
