According to the news, the machine will be equipped with a 6.9-inch FHD+ resolution IPS LCD screen and support a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen adopts a central opening design. Compared with HMD’s entry-level models in the past few years, the overall front appearance is more modern. It is expected to be available in two body color options: Florida Blue and Titanium Black.
In terms of shooting performance, HMD has invested more resources in the Selfie function on this model. It is reported that HMD Grand will be equipped with a 50-megapixel front lens, while the back will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. For a mobile phone targeting the mass market, the paper data of this set of lens specifications is quite competitive.
As for the hardware configuration, news indicates that the new machine will use Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor. The chip architecture is basically a clock upgrade of the Snapdragon 685 and does not support 5G networks.
