DJI officially announced the launch of the 2026 version of the new DJI RS 4 Pro package. This new set focuses on combining the brand’s professional-grade stabilizer DJI RS 4 Pro with the latest DJI SDR image transmission system. This new combination not only retains the original stable picture performance and professional control feel, but also adds practical functions such as high-definition image transmission, remote control, and real-time monitoring through SDR technology.
Carbon fiber body and fourth-generation stabilization algorithm
As a professional-level image stabilization platform, DJI RS 4 Pro uses carbon fiber material to design the axis arm and provides a load capacity of up to 4.5 kilograms, which is enough to carry mainstream mirrorless cameras, movie cameras and their lens combinations on the market. To ensure operational sensitivity, the built-in three-axis motor torque is increased by 20% compared to the previous generation. Even if heavier shooting equipment is installed, the gimbal’s following response is still accurate. When shooting dynamic images, users can rely on the built-in DJI RS fourth-generation stabilization algorithm, which can provide good anti-shake performance whether shooting horizontally, vertically, or in situations prone to shaking such as running or shooting at low angles. In addition, the system is equipped with an exclusive vehicle mode, which optimizes the algorithm by collecting vehicle vibration and wind resistance data, so that the shooting footage during high-speed driving remains stable.
SDR image transmission brings stable connection experience
Another core part of the package is the DJI SDR image transmission system developed using software-defined radio technology. This system supports SDR and Wi-Fi dual-standard image transmission. The SDR technology has strong wall penetration capabilities, providing a transmission distance of up to 3 kilometers, and can handle a wide range of indoor and outdoor mobile shooting. When faced with on-site signal interference, the system will automatically perform non-sensitive frequency hopping between the three frequency bands of 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz and DFS, switching to the best channel to ensure continuous and stable connection. In terms of hardware integration, the SDR transmitter can be directly installed on the gimbal and uses the integrated power supply design to be directly powered by the gimbal, eliminating the need for additional battery mounting and achieving lightweight deployment.
Multiple monitoring methods and remote control
In terms of image quality transmission, DJI SDR image transmission supports 1080p/60fps specifications and a transmission rate of up to 20Mbps, ensuring clear and smooth images. The system supports a variety of monitoring methods. In addition to connecting to professional monitors via SDI/HDMI, users can also use Wi-Fi to directly connect to mobile phones or tablets for low-cost, receiver-free monitoring. The new USB-C output brings a more stable wired connection experience to mobile devices. For large teams, its broadcast mode allows a single transmitter to connect to an unlimited number of receivers, meeting the needs of multiple positions such as directors and photographers for independent monitoring at the same time. Coupled with the stable transmission capability, creators can use virtual joysticks, virtual somatosensory and gimbal functions to complete complex camera operations remotely, greatly improving the efficiency of separate collaboration.

The DJI RS 4 Pro package (2026 version), which includes DJI RS 4 Pro and DJI SDR image transmission, is now officially on sale with a recommended price of $8,799.
