Musk also revealed that SpaceX is working with major handset manufacturers while simultaneously upgrading Starlink’s satellite fleet to enable true direct-to-cell communication. If successful, this technology could disrupt the trillion-dollar telecom market and challenge Apple, Google, and major carriers.

I don't care how good Elon Musk improves phone technology, once you start using his phones, you will become part of his financial grip and become a slave to his technology. He will own you, that is why he is trying to dominate world communications with starlinks. Just think if the government let him into a billion dollar contract for military communications; now he calls the shots and demands payment beyond the norm and starts black mailing the goverment for highter pay.
