iPadOS 26 Review: Apple Finally Listened!
I’ve been using iPadOS 26 for the past month, and it’s the biggest leap forward we’ve seen in years. From full windowing support to the new Liquid Glass UI, this update brings the iPad closer to being a true laptop replacement ,but it’s not without flaws.
What’s New in iPadOS 26:
Full windowing: Resize, stack, and move windows like macOS
Liquid Glass UI: Clean, translucent, and modern
Apple Intelligence: AI summaries, live call translations, smarter organization
Mac features: Preview app, Phone app, and Journal with Pencil support
Creator upgrades: External monitor support, background tasking, easier AV input
What’s Still Missing:
No sideloading or full desktop apps
External monitor bugs
Third-party apps still catching up with windowing
If you’re a student, creator, or just want your iPad to feel more like a computer — this update is a game-changer. But for those expecting macOS on a tablet… we’re not there yet.

Ah, window management doesn't work with all apps unless they're updated individually. That's the thing I was waiting for someone to confirm. I'll stick to Galaxy Tab with DeX.
