Ergotron monitor arms are lot better than paying for Apple options of $400. Studio Display is one of kind all competition is close to 1k with many flaws. The only wish I have for Studio Display is it should have multiple input option at this price it should be
Did yours have the coil whine buzzing sound coming from the lower left corner? I’m on my 2nd unit already and it has the same issue. Unacceptable for a display of this price.
I upgraded my Mac last year and delayed buying a monitor in the hopes of getting a new Studio Display. I was disappointed that the refresh rate stayed the same. Competing monitors often lack in screen brightness. Then I learned that the vesa version of the XDR option got a discount so I am considering it seriously. What do you think about Eve Spectrum monitors?

Also..I also own a LG Dual Up which is actually Great for productivity but yeah agree on the colors
That panel is from the iMac 5K, over a decade old at this point. Way too overpriced for what you get. Should at least be 120Hz pro-motion with everything else remaining the same.
I've got my (non-Studio) display mounted on a Huanuo adjustable arm that works great and was affordable.
I’m doing the same. Adding the 2026 Studio Display to the original Studio Display I already have. Both VESA mounted on a dual arm I got from a monoprice for $100 super sturdy high quality. No need to spend $300+ on the name brand arms.
