   So tired…SOOOO tired … of the dumb thumbnails and the clickbait language: “INSANE” and “SAVAGE” and “BRUTAL” … when will this madness finally end? There are Eleventy Billion videos that all look the same, all sound the same, all trying to manipulate the algorithm. It’s just become so unwatchable.

   I think Apple's habit of these superficial redesigns or changing the location, or animation, or all the little interface things is so damn tiresome. It is only dumb people who will think Siri's better because it looks more cool. America's problem is that today all we do is pander to dumb people with different levels of repetition from different places, different voices, different media so people think – everyone must think this way. Boooooooo!

   I have constant issues on my iPhone 16 Pro every single time I use Siri AI. It seems to be doing most of the work off-device, and that 2-4 second delay to Apple’s cloud Siri then 2-4 seconds back to Australia feels like old tech. That’s if I can actually get it to reply. 3 out of 4 times it will just listen, think, and stop. All the text of my question sitting in the little bubble doing nothing. If I say hey siri again and tell it to answer my question, it’ll ask me to ask a question. When it does this 2 or 3 times in a row, I honestly have to hold myself back from throwing the phone at a wall. I absolutely loathe the new Siri AI. I’m not sure if it’s just because I’m in Australia, or if it’s because I’m using an iPhone 16 Pro (supposed to be built from the ground up for Apple Intelligence), but it surprises me any time I see videos from people saying it’s amazing.

   They made a deal with Google that runs Siri. Steve Job’s would never do that. Cook ran late on AI so he had to make a deal with the devil. Pathetic.

   I doubt improvements are useful. I would like a Siri that navigates to the Sheraton Hotel that is 20 miles away rather than choose one 2000 miles away when I ask to navigate to the closest Sheraton Hotel. Or navigates to my Dentist who is in my phone book and located 10 miles from my house, instead of finding a dentist 500 miles away with the same last name.

   Siri will never live up to expectations. In order to do apple needs to rebuild iPhone from the ground up

    Still has a long way to go eg ask Siri to get direction from a postcode to a place eg “get directions from SK8 4AE to Poyton Bowling Green” and you will get “SK8 4AE2 Poyton”,

    Ask “what appointments do I have today”, Siri will say “you have none” but ask it to read out the appointment you have today and it will… syntax is everything so this is not intelligence but rather an assistant that speaks English as a second language

    Does Siri always have an English accent? I had assumed that each country has their own voice and that is the voice of my Siri here in the UK.

    If you think that’s intuitive and easy to use, you’re crazy! We’ll soon all need a degree in thermodynamics to work these darn things! Apple has gone crazy if the company believes these “developments” are usable by normal folk. Just wait to see what new bugs they’ll be – or battery problems!
