I brought a m4 pro MacBook pro for univetsity and I have been happily playing games like crimson desert, cyberpunk 2077,death island 2,god of war via crossover and many other games via crossover and I can get around 100 to 110 fps in 4k with upscaling ultra or high settings in all of the games
no 4k ultra settings for that money with m5 max chip. apple is still behind.

i have the MacBook Pro M4 and set it to medium graphics, plus this tracing thing (forgive me, not a PC expert lol) and it actually runs pretty well! very smooth and graphic wise not bad at all, im pretty satisfied with everything

M4 Pro MBP 24GB. Frame generation unlimited , 2560×1600, upscale performance, HDR on, Ray Tracing on, most settings set to high, except shadow, lighting, reflection and fog set to medium, and advanced water effect off. Getting a pretty solid 60-65 fps in most places. This game looks and plays GREAT!
So Macbooks still suck at gaming, got it.
