Apple has registered products that are more than five years or less than seven years since the date they stopped supplying to retailers on their vintage product list, and product repairs can only be accepted if parts are available.
On the other hand, Obsolite products have been more than seven years since Apple stopped supplying them to retailers, and no hardware repair services are provided.
