IT House reported on September 27 that Apple updated its official support page today (the Chinese page has not been updated yet), confirming that the entire iPhone 16 series supports 160MHz Wi-Fi 7 network (normally 320 MHz), and only supports Wi-Fi 6E The iPhone 15 Pro series remains the same (the base model of iPhone 15 only supports 80MHz).
Note from IT Home: The above specifications are based on the US version of iPhone. Apple’s Wi-Fi 6E is not available in mainland China. Although Wi-Fi 7 is available in mainland China, it does not support the 6 GHz band.

Based on this, Les Numeriques Laboratory tested this series of models. From the results, it can be seen that although the iPhone 16 series has been upgraded to Wi-Fi 7, it is still only at the level of the iPhone 15 Pro Max in terms of wireless speed.

For comparison, the lab also conducted tests with an ASUS ZenBook S 14 laptop under the same network conditions, with both download and upload rates reaching 4 Gbps to prove that there are no router limitations.
