IT House News on September 11th, technology media macobserver published a blog post today (September 11th), reporting that the movie effect mode of Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models supports up to 60 FPS.
iPhone’s “Movie Effect Mode” is a video shooting mode with a shallow depth of field and automatic zoom effect: the subject remains sharp, and the foreground and background are blurred like a movie lens. iPhone automatically recognizes people or other subjects and automatically shifts focus to the new subject when the subject changes.
On iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, movie effect mode supports up to 4K Dolby Vision and 30 FPS. On iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple has upgraded the movie effect mode to support up to 60FPS.
