During the IFA 2026 trade fair in Berlin, Aqara announced the launch of a new range of smart lighting products suitable for indoor and outdoor environments, as well as the community platform Aqara Builder. The manufacturer’s proposal aims to expand home automation by connecting lights directly with sensors and human presence detection procedures.
Universal connectivity with Matter, Thread and Zigbee
All models presented include dual connectivity methods: Thread and Zigbee They have native compatibility with: Questions They can be integrated with platforms such as Apple Home, Home Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings and Homey. Thanks to this technical foundation, these devices can automatically respond to environmental and human body sensing through the Aqara Home app without manual activation.
New indoor lighting equipment
- Aqara Floor Lamp T1: Floor lamp, 1.420 mm high, side-lit. It integrates a 16-bit 5-channel chip to manage… 18 independent zones color temperature adjustable from 2.000 K to 9.000 K and brightness up to 1.000 lumens.
- Aqara LED Downlight T2: Ultra-thin recessed spotlight for low ceilings. Available in a variety of colors. Both models retain state memory after a power outage with RGB color temperature (160,000 colors, color temperature range from 2.000 K to 9.000 K) and version with standard color temperature up to 1.200 lumens.
- Aqara LED light strip T2: Flexible and cuttable LED light strip with 108 LEDs per meter and 18 control areas every 3 meters. It supports color gradients, music synchronization, and mood settings via natural language commands.
Outdoor solutions and creator platform
- Outdoor String Light H1: Weatherproof garland for patios and terraces with individually configurable zone heat sensing range from 2.000 K to 9.000 K and supports automatic scene generation using AI based on time or security events.
- Permanent outdoor lighting H1: A fixed system for facades and roofs designed to avoid seasonal assembly and disassembly. Cuttable, stretchable and continuously weatherproof.
- Aqara Builder: A global community environment for integrators, developers, and users to communicate about automation projects and plan scenarios with the help of AI agents.
