I pre ordered the Apple Watch 7 45mm blue with navy solo loop so I didn’t have to buy the band
Even though mine was very big, it was comfortable
Now THAT is a band
Go down a size. If your wrist measurement is a 7 go down to a 5 or 6
Except it’s not all the colours.

The sizing thing was totally wrong . It went between 6-7 for me but the 5 ended up being the best option for me.

I’ve sized myself using the tool and it says a size 5. I think a size 4 would be too small but everyone seems to be sizing down. I can’t choose between the solo loop or the braided loop.

Tested both Loops in the Apple Store. I especially liked the Braided Loop. The measurement tool is utterly useless though. I measured between size 6 and 7, but when I was at the store they told me, to always buy one size smaller then measured. And after trying them on, size 5 actually seemed to be the right size.
Even with the measurement tools provided at the Apple store it was impossible to get 5 as an result. So I recommend to everybody to either try out for yourself at a store or to order a size smaller then measured.
Are these bands suitable for Apple Watch series 3 38mm?
So they charging us 49-100 dollars for this cool band that is MADE OUT OF SILICONE one of the cheapest materials. Funny
How breathable is the braided loop compared to the Nike silicon sport band or the Nike sport loop?
Unfortunately my blue band doesn’t match my blue watch.
I ordered the braided loop. I printed the Apple tool and ensured it was printed out at the correct size by putting my credit card in the area shown. The Apple tool showed my wrist to be 7, so I thought to be safe I will order a 6 & 7 (as I have read some people say about going for a size less than shown). Well the straps arrived and the 7 was way too big and so was the 6. I've returned the straps and I have just ordered size 4 and 5 (size 4 is the smallest size in the 44 mm strap). Hopefully one of these will fit.
Apple have put a note on their website that the Solo Loop increases in size over time. But there's no mention of this for the braided loop (probably due to them been different materials). If I was in the market for another silicone band, I would just go with the original one as its not worth the hassle in my opinion having to try and specifically pick the right size, and also when there is a chance of them increasing in size over time.
Could you post a picture/video of a blue series 6 with the charcoal braided loop on it? If you have the blue series 6 that is? For that matter, since the blue watch may look really good with other colour bands, a great video would be , in sequence to pair the watch with each of the available bands .
I pre-ordered my Apple Watch Series 6 before they were released: however, I canceled my order and purchased it from the Apple store. Most importantly, I suggest purchasing the watch from the Apple stores, especially because of the solo and braided solo loop. Initially, during my conversation with the Apple customer service associate and using the measuring tool for my wrist; I was a size 10. HOWEVER, when I visited the store to purchase my watch, I was a size 8. Size 8 was sold out and I wear a size 9, which is comfortable, but a 10 would have been too large. I LOVE MY SERIES 6!!!
Go one size down for normal use and two sizes down for sport use!

Good to see you measured the right way and the band was a good size. I think a lot of people are measuring wrong.
I hope I can just return my braided solo loop band. I ordered the bigger size (was between too) and now I am scared it won't fit 😪
Edit: My mom's didn’t fit. I canceled my order and bought the Milanese loop version. I ordered it through a different site like Best Buy in the US and it will arrive 1 week earlier.
Wish I could order just the watch without a band as I already own several.
