My way is ONE OF THE FASTEST methods and allows you to keep your stock dashboard while you play games and homebrew like a modded Xbox 360 with BadUpdate;
although it’s not a soft mod, it works just like one, even better.
I will teach you how to jailbreak any Xbox 360 by copying some folders.
You can also choose to run the 360 jailbreak whenever you like, instead of automatically turning your console into a modded 360.
To remove the USB jailbreak just turn off your 360 console and go back online without getting banned.
Basically, everything will look normal but it will be modded using a USB jailbreak and play games/homebrew.

PS: Make sure you’re OFFLINE, connect online AFTER turning off the console – it will be like the 360 was never modified.
