Hey what’s up guys welcome back you are watching 4U tech i was using rice droid 8.0 from last few days but we have created community post 3 weeks back for installation and review of new retrofit build for evolution X by Anerin bliss
but as new retrofit build falshing is some what difficult for newbies.
Because new build can not be flashed via twrp nor via OTA update if u r using normal evoX build except retrofit builds.
So I decided to take time with full seperate instructions video for flashing the new builds for OnePlus 6 and 6T.
I will upload seperate video for full review of 25th nov build of evolution X 7.3.
Before start the flashing of evo X download all necessary files given under video description place them in folder inside platform tools of C drive or on the dextop of your device.
You need one windows PC with latest fastboot drivers installed on it if you didn’t have that then follow any YouTube videos available online.
If u r first time going to falsh this build remember u must be on oos 11.1.1 or 11.1.2 build on both slots of your device means you need to falsh official oxygen OS build two times
And If u r already using Android 12 custom roms then you don’t need to flash oos firmware
Your bootloader must be unlocked and usb debugging enabled innthe developer setting.
Now boot your phone in to fastboot mode using advance reboot,
Or using vol up+ power button combo after powering off the device.
Connect it to pc using cable and head over to the folder where you placed all donwloded files
So Everything is done here now without further do let’s get started.
Ensure you’re running OOS 11.1.2.2 firmware on your current slot and bootloader is unlocked with usb debugging on in developers settings.
If you do not have that firmware installed, grab it for you device from the following links:
OnePlus 6:

if u are already on android 12 or 13 roms then no need to flash above oxygen os 11 firmwares.
Download OnePlus 6:
download vbmeta.img, super_empty.img, boot.img, copy_partation.zip and evolution X rom.zip file.

A) flashing commands:
1)vbmeta:
fastboot flash vbmeta_a vbmeta.img
fastboot flash vbmeta_b vbmeta.img
2)boot:
fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b boot.img
B)Erasing partitions:
fastboot erase system_a
fastboot erase system_b
fastboot erase odm_a
fastboot erase odm_b
fastboot erase vendor_a
fastboot erase vendor_b
C)Initialise the retrofit super partitions for each slot:
fastboot wipe-super super_empty.img
fastboot set_active other
fastboot wipe-super super_empty.img
fastboot set_active other
D) sideloading files:
adb sideload copy_partitions.zip
adb sideload [Evolution X OTA zip name]
