Like promised I show you how to get #Android and #Google apps running on the #HuaweiPuraX and other #HarmonyOSNext devices.
As HarmonyOS 5.x aka Next does not ship with any Android Runtime or Container you need to rely on third party apps like Droitong or EasyAbroad to provide an Android Container and install and run apps.
Even though this solution sounds similiar to the GBox solution on previous HarmonyOS versions the underlying tech is totally different and does not require a virtual maschine as all Android apps are running on native hardware with the best possible integration into the system.
In this video I show you how to install Android Container support and how you can get apps and apk files installed. I also show you the differences between the two solutions as well as the limitations I ran into while using those.

APKTool doesn't work. My version doesn't have the M in the name like yours. It cannot find aurora I downloaded. And everything is in Chinese in the apktool app.

I lived in Shenzhen for 3 months at the end of last year and was always impressed by Huawei smartphones. I’d love to give HarmonyOS a try, but I do have concerns about G-apps and how well they work outside of China

Hi is there any way you found to make Huawei health to work outside of China. I have the pura X and i have all variant's of the Huawei watches but when i open huawei heath to pair them i get the error this account isn't registered in the Chinese mainland and does not go forward. however the same id works well in my honor porche rsr 7 and x200 ultra. was hoping for a workaround. i cannot even get the phone to sync with my existing huawei data

Microg is hidden and you can install Android app without having an extra folder app.
