I have a couple of questions … Does the radar interfere with its reception? Doesn't it have to be angled towards a satellite or does the flat install that you have work just as well? Thanks in advance …

Love the vids, I've got a mini on my boat, but I don't have it mounted yet, I was looking at a SeaView APEX Mount which is $$$ but seems much sturdier than using the little mount like you did. You've not had any issues with rough seas and it disconnecting? That's my biggest concern, those little tabs that lock into the plastic housing of the antenna just don't seem very secure to me when the waves get rough. Again, great vid, keep it up!

I run in the Bahamas up and down but I have the Starlink for boats (2.5k) and it was amazing, no loss of connection ever. Kudos to musk. The mini is the best cost efficient option.

Definitely will be a revolution in boating be starlink also too is #seakeeper how these systems are integrated into production boats no small matter as well as first to have Tesla Vision vehicle autonomous driving system you wont need #irony "a pilot house" anymore after that all be fully autonomous. "just tell it where you want to go" even docking even putting on and off the trailer. Amount of wiring let alone all of these extraneous items like radar very much set to vanish here. Seakeeper has to do with right correct "trim" for running so that will very much be staying tho. Might see all electric outboards as imminent as well actually….no more fuel bills, crazy quiet…crazy fast too instant on power be on plane crazy fast. Might see a range of 600-800 miles on that type of system…might include solar power #aptera solar powered car en route as production item 2025. Captain i heard u stating in your video for "cold weather warning for lithium batteries" that u have 5 lithium batteries. 2 on the fridge and 3 on the Minnkota. Are they all 12 v ? How many amp hours r each of them? Great video.

You’re moving up in the world. Now is that hole you run it through in the roof. Is that some kind of special gland that you put in?
Can I ask why you would use rivets instead of just some stainless screws? I’m just curious. Hope you never need to remove the bracket. Very cool to have internet everywhere. I’d have it if I could afford it for sure!
Jus FYI. Be careful using those low heat soldering butt connectors. I had a case where I used them on a light bar. The wire would get hot because it was near the engine. It would cause intermittent connection of the light and it basically created an electrical gremlin that I had chase down. I realized that it was the low heat connector. I changed to a traditional crimp heat shrink butt connector and problem solved.
