Hi – I use apple CarPlay (rental car) and it brings up the maps just fine, but I dont have the audio on the directions. The car quite happily does podcasts using CarPlay – any ideas. It worked in the beg=inning but just stopped, volume doesn’t help, on the iphone or the car and Ive checked settings (most) HELP!

Map with the navigation Payne on the right and the route on the left. Where it showed the route on the right – closer to the driver before in my old mg zs. Do you know how to change this?

What about YouTube app? does it show in apple CarPlay??
Where will you keep your phone? Are you driving with the phone placed in your leg?? There is no space to keep the phone. Stupid MG

My I phone overheats connected with a cable can you use Bluetooth for Apple Maps ?

Hi, why when i plug in the cable, on my iphone doesn't appear the window for permission of car play ? It only charge my phone…
Which is better, Apple Maps or Google Maps?
Just bought a HS excite, decent car but the fact there is only one 12v point on the car is a bit disappointing. I have a dashcam and the location of the 12v point means the cable/plug sticks up and I can’t close the cover. Carplay would also be better if it connected wirelessly.

Do you know why and if there is a fix for the car constantly disconnecting apple Car play. I have to unplug and then plug again so many times. And it is not the “allow CarPlay while locked” as that is turned on.
This has been an issue everytime I have rented an MG.

This is a great video, thanks heaps. I have a new Mg ZST Excite, and have connected by cable for Car play. During conversation the car play stops working but I can hear the person on iPhone asking if I can hear them. Why did it stop going through the Apple CarPlay on car speaker? Is it my phone? TIA.

Hi Jerry, are you able to change the most used app menu (Apple Maps, Spotify and messages for example) from the right hand side to the left hand side and vice versa? I have an MG ZS and I’m not sure how to do that. Thanks 🙂
How can I put on the map screen on my zs
Hi, does carplay work wirelessly? This way I can try hide phone out of sight and have plugged into rear ports to charge – I know I am weird but I don't like seeing cables next to me in the front.
